Our Story

Gigi's Pasta was born when the pandemic caused us to close the doors to our restaurant for the third time in a matter of months. Our beloved home-made pasta dishes were missed and many reached out to us to say so. Others wanted to know how they could support their local independent restaurant. So we decided to do something about it.

We created our restaurant-quality pasta dishes, added all the components you'd need to recreate them at home and built the perfect Gigi's Pasta kits. Gigi's Head Chef Antonio Mollo and his team worked hard on the restaurant menu to adapt the dishes for you to make them at home. As ever, all the pasta is freshly hand-made in our kitchen. The ingredients are sourced locally and seasonally to keep them as fresh as we can get them. Some of the more elusive ingredients are sourced directly from small farmers and suppliers in Italy to ensure that we keep the dishes as authentically Italian as possible. We aim to strike an agreeable balance between sustainability and authenticity.

This year has been a year where our industry was challenged beyond its limits. However, necessity is the mother of all invention.
